I have always been an artist at heart; but, until few years ago I had never explored creating or designing jewelry. How did I begin to design and make jewelry? I worked in the corporate world for many years. I studied science in university not art; but I always felt like something is missing. My mother is an amazing seamstress/designer and I always admired her talent. Since I was a child, I, too, have had a hidden passion for design and fashion. I carried around a sketch pad and envisioned my design coming to life. Unfortunately, I never explored it. In 2012 I was asked to create and design fundraising pieces for a sickKids hospital event and I believe my new career was born.I began to use precious metal because I have skin sensitivities. Soon after I also discovered that using these precious metals gives me create higher quality jewelry pieces. I only use 925 Sterling Silver. 18 and 24 Karat Gold Vermeil ( gold dipped Sterling Silver). 14 Kt gold filled or yellow Kt gold.
In 2012 until 2014 I was a second level co-branded designer with prestigious Swarovski and began to use authorized Crystal in many of my designs.
You will not find a "signature" look in my pieces. Some collection are nature inspired. Some look like they belong to the red carpet and some have that Bohemian look to them.
What they do have in common however is:They all are handcrafted, limited edition pieces that are created with superior quality material.
